Description
HIGH SPEED AND THE AFFLICTED MAN - "Get Stoned Ezy": Years before The Bevis Frond & all of the other similar latter-day heavy neo-acid rockers, there was this 1982 beast, which may beat all in the genre...this is a serious acid rock trio led by singer-guitarist STEVE HALL(who wrote all of the lyrics & music & produced it--& did the LP sleeve, to boot) slingin' his Strat like nobody's bizness... I'm talkin' serious, serious jam action--wild, strong, ballzzy, acid-y guitars non-stop for the entire LP(3 cuts/32:00--figger out the Jam Quotient fer yerself!!)!! Hard, blasting guitar psych. Amazing. Even though this was recorded live in the studio by a guitar-bass-drums trio, I swear my ears hear 2 guits flyin' all over the place. Minimal vocals. "Get Stoned Ezy", "Zip Ead", & "Sun Sun". Stated on the back cover is this: "WARNING: THIS RECORD IS VERY POWERFUL & COULD GIVE YOU EARHOLE DAMAGE".
Originally released in 1982, the copy I'm offering here is an Italian(or so it says on the LP jacket...) reissue from many years ago(possibly 1990's) issued on Rock Toilet Records in a thin card stock fold-over/wrap-around cover housed in a clear, open, plastic sleeve. As was typical with LP's from that part of the world, this probably was never sealed even when it was newly-released, but since I got a quantity of this LP(and others) directly from a U.S. vendor's/warehouse's stock years ago--all in this same condition--it's probably unplayed, as it looks to be in as-new condition like the day it was pressed. There is minor cover wear.
I guarantee that the item is in the condition described in this listing by offering a 100% money-back refund(including all postage costs) if the buyer disagrees. The buyer must contact me within 14 days of receipt of the item & the item must be returned in the same condition. Returns will not be accepted without my prior approval. Because I cannot be responsible for packages that may be damaged or lost by the Post Office(s) after I have mailed them, no refunds will be given for packages that are not insured or registered. That is the buyers' option, and buyers assume the risk and the responsibility for any packages sent that are not insured or registered.
If anyone buys more than one record from my current listings, I will ship the records together in one mailer if THE BUYER DOES NOT SEND PAYMENT BEFORE I SEND AN INVOICE.
I've been selling records by mailorder worldwide since the 1980's, and I will ship this record--carefully packaged in a record mailer with protection inside around the record--worldwide, per the following costs for postage & packaging (NOTE: I usually travel to the Post Office to ship records only one day each week--and that day is not always the same--so depending on which day of the week I receive payments, I may not mail records until the end of the week FOLLOWING the week in which I receive payment):
U.S.A.: $5.99 via Media Mail for 1 or 2 records shipped anywhere in the 50 States. $1 for each extra record or two shipped in the same package. Priority Mail, etc. is available...just let me know what you'd like to pay for.
AIR MAIL POSTAGE & PACKAGING COSTS TO:CANADA: $24 for one or two 12" records shipped in the same mailer.
MEXICO: $25 for one or two 12" records shipped in the same mailer.
ALL OTHER COUNTRIES: $29 for one or two 12" records shipped in the same mailer.
When shipping to countries outside the U.S.A., I'll ship per the buyer's instructions for any extras(registration, etc.). In any case, tell me your preferred shipping method. Packages sent to countries other than the U.S.A. may be assessed customs fees by those countries; if you want to know if your country assesses such fees--and if so, what those fees are--contact your country's customs officials.
