Ambassador LP Mono AML 001, 1960's / 70's repress

Made in Nigeria

 

Ghanaian highlife, also has 2 hybrid latin highlife tracks defined as "bushey" rhythms, one of them being based on "El manicero", all sung in twi. Apparently recorded in the sixties but it looks definitely like a repress.

Sleeve is VG to VG++ w/ light aging & dirt.

Record plays an average VG++ to EX, has inaudible though apparent residues on surface that come from stocking in damp conditions.

All our African records are graded according to the same Western grading standards as used for jazz, funk, etc. 

 

As sellers, it is simply our job to get the records, and do an accurate grading.

 

Saying the record is impossible to find and using this rarity argument to lower the grading standard sounds more like a lack of competence from a seller.
