Description

This is the first and only album by the original HIGHWAY band from Southern Minnesota that played throughout the 1970's across the heartland of the U.S. I am the band's original drummer. We recorded this album in 1975 with nine of our original songs. The music is hard driving, melodic and tight.... a cross between the progressive rock of bands like Cream and Flash, and the Southern Rock of the Allman Brothers and Lynyrd Skynyrd. In recent years our music has become extremely popular in countries throughout Europe and Asia . This album is extremely rare, especially in this condition. There is a slight crease along the top of the album jacket and a small blemish in the lower corner. The record is perfect and pristine. I will personalize and autograph this album for the winning bidder. Best of luck in your bidding!!

For those who are interested, you can go to this recently ended auction,(item # 270366301726), for this same album, in less than stellar condition. It sold for $511.00 on April 5, 2009. I am offering a much nicer version, and the added benefit of having it personalized and autographed by me, the original drummer of HIGHWAY. I am also flattered by the really nice things this person quoted about our band in their ad. It has always been about the music, and playing for each other and our fans.
