Description
HIGHWAY ROBBERY-For Love Or Money(1972, RCA Records): Ace hard rock trio including DON FRANCISCO(x-ATLEE, CROWFOOT) and MICHAEL STEVENS. "Lazy Woman" is top-level--nay, KILLER--riffermania with incredibly ballz-z-z-y-y-sounding, ripping, in-yer-face distorted lead guitar shards that seem as if they're gonna shred yer speakers, "I'll Do It All Again" is a KILLER hard rock ballad...as the liner notes say, the band "dedicates itself to roar, to drive...above all, the emission of the highest levels of energy rock...in the name of storming, beautiful rock & roll". And that sure ain't no hyperbolic b.s . "Ain't Gonna Take No More", "Promotion Man","Fifteen", "Mystery Rider",...and it was all produced by BILL HALVERSON.
This is an original 1972 new, never-opened, factory-sealed vinyl LP pressing. There is a cut-out mark on the cover, and the front & back covers do have several light creases as a result of being flexed; otherwise, the artwork itself is in nearly-perfect condition.
I guarantee that the item is in the condition described in this listing by offering a 100% money-back refund(including all postage costs) if the buyer disagrees. The buyer must contact me within 7 days of receipt of the item & the item must be returned in the same condition. Returns will not be accepted without my prior approval. Because I cannot be responsible for packages that may be damaged or lost by the Post Office(s) after I have mailed them, no refunds will be given for packages that are not insured or registered. That is the buyers' option, and buyers assume the risk and the responsibility for any packages sent that are not insured or registered.
If anyone buys more than one record from my current listings, I will ship the records together in one mailer if I receive all payments within eight days of the end of my earliest auction.
I've been selling records by mailorder worldwide since the 1980's, and I will ship this record--carefullypackaged in a record mailer with protection inside around the record--worldwide, per the following costs for
postage & packaging (NOTE: I usually travel to the Post Office to ship records only one day each week--and
that day is not always the same--so depending on which day of the week I receive payments, I may not mail
records until the end of the week FOLLOWING the week in which I receive payment):
U.S.A.: $4 via Media Mail for 1 record shipped anywhere in the 50 States. $1 will be added
for each additional record shipped in one mailer anywhere in the U.S.
Priority Mail, etc. is available...just let me know what you'd like.
CANADA: $13 for one 12" EP or LP, then $3 for each extra record shipped in the same mailer.
MEXICO: $18 for one 12" EP or LP, then $3 for each extra record shipped in the same mailer.
ALL OTHER COUNTRIES: $20 for one 12" EP or LP, then $4 for each extra record shipped in the same mailer.
When shipping to countries outside the U.S.A., I'll ship per the buyer's instructions for any extras
(registration, etc.). In any case, tell me your preferred shipping method. Packages sent to countries other
than the U.S.A. may be assessed customs fees by those countries; if you want to know if your country assesses
such fees--and if so, what those fees are--contact your country's customs officials.
If you'd like to see an all-vinyl list of some of the other 1960's, '70's, & '80's underground hard rock,
psych, prog, acid rock, garage/punk, heavy metal, & private pressings I have for sale, contact me.
