Description
Here’s a great item for psych fans. Awesome near mint original pressing of the much in-demand vintage psych LP entitled “HAMMER” by the group HILLOW HAMMET from 1969 on HOUSE OF THE FOX. Catalog number is HOF-LP-2 Stereo. Produced by Guy Cameron, and supervised by Lelan Rogers of the International Artists label who signed and produced the 13th Floor Elevators.
Group members are JACK REGISTER – bass, G. C. COLEMAN – drums, PETE WILLIAMS – guitar, RONNIE BARCLEY – guitar, CHUCK BENNETT – organ, bass, and lead vocals, STEVE SPENCER – piano, organ, and electric piano, and MIKE PREVITY – percussions.
Side 1 tunes are: “Slip Away” ( 5:34), “Trouble” (5:45), “Fever” (3:46), “Home” (4:11), and “Brown Eyed Woman” (4:32). Side 2 tracks are: “Nobody But You” (2:39), “Come With Me” (3:36), “We Want to be Free” (5:24), and “Oh Happy Day” (7:06).
Condition of jacket is excellent, a few very slight traces of wear but these are nothing more than a hint. No splits, writing, or significant flaws. It is overall a beautiful jacket that is guaranteed to please!
Condition of vinyl is solid NEAR MINT, absolutely gorgeous. I am reasonably certain it has never been played. This record is flawless, including the label. If you are particular in your collecting and insist on mint, this record will not disappoint.
