Description

This is a rare audiophile reissue of Hindemith's Symphonic Metamorphoses On Themes Of Weber conducted by Claudio Abbado. Originally released as Decca SXL6398, this vinyl LP was mastered and pressed by renowned Nimbus Records and was only available by mail order to readers of Practical Hi-Fi magazine. This series is renowned for its stunning sound quality.

Condition / Grading  

The vinyl has been barely played and well looked after and visually is completely unmarked. The labels are also unmarked. On play, both sides are audibly superb - no negatives whatsoever - stunning audio throughout.

The sleeve is generally excellent - light wear only but some general light discolouration to the whiter areas more so to the rear - minor and a small delamination mark where the Practical Hi-Fi sticker was removed (see picture).

Record is stored in poly lined inner.
