HMV ALP 1286-7 Beethoven 9 Furtwängler Bayreuth 1951
HMV ALP 1286-7. 2 lp set. Dutch heavy vinyl pressings, Uk sleeves. Beethoven 9th symphony. live recording bayreuth 1951. Wilhelm Furtwängler, elisabeth Schwarzkopf, Elisabeth Höngen, Hans Hopf, otto Edelmann.
One sleeve is NM, the other VG: it has a tear at the opening. The sleeves are both from the ALP 1287.
The records are in great Ex+ condition, only very light superficial signs of use. Shiny vinyl. these early dutch pressings sound great!

I use new cardboard lp packaging boxes.
Grading:
- M: never used. I don't use this grade unless the record is sealed
- NM: No visible or audible faults
- EX: Record has clearly been used, but has no major audible faults, some non sounding marks possible, maybe some dirt or light surface noise (especially on older mono record, surface noise is quite normal).
- VG: Light audible faults, ticks or surface noise
- G: scratches, etc. I don't sell record in this condition, unless they are very special and collectible.
