STUNNING COPY OF LANDMARK RECORDINGWAGNER : DIE WALKUREFURTWANGLER & VPO HMV ALP 1257-61 RED GOLD
This is a really superb copy of this great recording. The box is in VG condition with some shelf wear, scuffing and a bit of fraying of the cloth binding.
However, the vinyl is in beautiful pristine condition with only the faintest of markings on the first disc and some very occasional marks on the other five albums. Apart from some light crackle in the run in groove the albums play superbly with little or no background noise. The album was played on a Goldring Lenco 75 turntable and all albums are pretty close to NM and are without the characteristic sleeve markings you often find in these box sets resulting from the heavy cardboard sleeves.
I have only photographed two of the five albums as they are all of similar quality.
Interestingly the album also features some press reviews of the set which are pasted inside the box cover.
Please note this is a heavy box set and weighs 1.8kg with packaging.
