HMV ASD 385/7 – WAGNER : FLYING DUTCHMAN – KONWITSCHNY
HMV ASD 385/7 (SLS 760) Box set of 3-stereo LPs with gold/cream labels in grey box with single sheet
insert listing cast and contents of each side but no libretto. 1960 recording sung in German with
Fischer-Dieskau, Frick, Schech, Schock, Wunderlich. Franz Konwitschny conducting chorus and
orchestra of the German State Opera, Berlin.
The records are in near mint condition and have an unplayed appearance. The insert has some foxing.
The textured grey box is VERY scruffy and dirty with a split and staining on one corner (see photo) and
serious wear on all edges. The stuck-on paper picture on front is very good.
