Description
I am offering for sale my entire collection of vinyl amassed over 45 years. The majority of it comes from the classical repertoire, but there will also be jazz, folk, world and rock music.
I’m listing the LPs individually, starting everything at 99p, and letting the market decide what they are worth. PLEASE DON’T BE PUT OFF BY THE LOW STARTING PRICE – IT’S NOT BECAUSE THE RECORDS AREN’T WORTH MORE (MUCH MORE IN MANY CASES), JUST THAT I NEED THE SPACE!
I’m not a professional dealer; I don’t have time to grade every one by listening to it, and will follow the Record Collector Magazine Grading Guide* (see below), which seems as good as any. I don’t believe that anything can be ‘mint’ if it has been used, and ‘near mint’ seems rather a contradiction in terms. Those I list as EX/EX+, etc. may well meet the ‘NM’ standard of other sellers.
All the LPs I sell will be mailed in proper cardboard mailers with a stiffening sheet.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.price rating
