Description

HMV ASD 580/1 – NICOLAI : MERRY WIVES OF WINDSOR, HEGER

2-record stereo set HMV ASD 580/1 with early semi-circle labels in 2 separate sleeves.

Robert Heger conducting the Bavarian State Opera Orchestra & Chorus sung in German with

Gottlob Frick as Sir John Falstaff and Fritz Wunderlich as Fenton.

Overall the records are in excellent condition but there is a ½-cm light scratch about two-thirds of the way in on side 1.  The two sleeves and two libretto inserts are excellent.  Sleeve text in English.
