Selling some of my precious vinyl collection to fund some other musical ventures.
Up for auction is a Near Mint copy of Holst: The Planets conducted by Sir Georg Solti. This is an Ultra High Quality Record that was pressed in Japan on 200 grams of High Definition Super Vinyl in January of 1982. It is number 2185 out of a total of 5000 pressed.
As you can see in the photos, the box is in great shape. It shows no shelf wear. There is some minor bubbling of the textured skin on the box, but does not detract from the overall appearance.
The inner sleeve has a very minor split on the bottom edge, less than 1", as seen in the photo.
The certificate of authenticity and technical data sheet are also in Near Mint condition.
The vinyl itself is conservatively graded as Near Mint. Since it is a used record that has been played, I can not give it a mint rating.
Record has been cleaned on a VPI record cleaning machine, with Disc Doctor Miracle record cleaner, then rinsed with distilled water. Then cleaned with LAST Extra Strength record cleaner then finally treated with LAST record preservative. The record now lives in a brand new Quality Record Pressings (QRP) anti-static record sleeve. I will also include an outer sleeve to protect the box from any possible shelf wear. I will also include the original anti static sleeve that came with this record. For some unknown reason, this box does NOT have the nice pocket in which the tech specs and COA are usually contained.
I accept Paypal only. I will not accept a return on this item as I feel I have accurately described the record so there should be no surprises for the winning bidder. But rest assured that I am a long time (15 yrs) seller on ebay with 100% feedback.
I know how to pack records securely, so there should be no more split seams...
