Description
HOME. An extremely rare acetate L.P. from this early 1970's band, who usually released records on the CBS label. The acetate disc itself is in excellent near mint condition. Produced during the early 1970's from Trident Studios, Wardour Street, London. There are no matrix markings or catalogue numbers. The disc is housed in a polythene lined paper bag inner, and a near mint, orange-coloured Trident company sleeve with their logo on the front. The centre labels are the Trident company labels and have hand-written titles "HOME 1" and "HOME 2" on them respectively. Not being at all familiar with this band I can't make any comment about them but they have musical links to The Groundhogs, AC/DC, Wishbone Ash, and The Blue Rondos. I am willing to answer any question you may wish to ask about the acetate. It is in near mint condition and looks as if it has hardly ever been played. I have certainly never played it. Side 1 appears to have distinct gaps between the tracks, but side 2 seems to be all merged together into one long track with no clear track spaces. Possibly a complete rarity or "one off", who knows? On 02-Nov-06 at 14:47:12 GMT, seller added the following information: ADDENDUM : HAVING NOW BEEN ABLE TO LISTEN TO THIS ACETATE, THIS ALBUM IS PROBABLY CALLED THE ALCHEMIST, ALTHOUGH THERE IS NO REFERENCE TO IT ANYWHERE AND THERE ARE NO SERIAL OR MATRIX NUMBERS. CONSIDERING IT IS AN ACETATE IT IS IN REMARKABLE CONDITION AND PLAYS BEAUTIFULLY.price rating
