VINYL~VG/VG+
This is an incredibly rare album but I have had to grade it as VG/VG+ as there is surface noise through most of the Lp. It is especially noticicable between tracks 1 and 2 and on tracks 2 and 3, but becomes less from tracks 4 and towards the end of each side.
There may be some scope in improving sound with a professional cleaning machine and there are no jumps or skips or bad distortion~just the surface noise which is a bit disappointing.
PLEASE READ THE ABOVE BUT REMEMBER THIS IS A MEGARARE LP AND A GENUINELY
AMAZING FIND!
EVEN ALLOWING FOR THE SURFACE NOISE IT STILL SOUNDS A STRONG LP AND IT IS A TRAVESTY IT WAS NEVER RELEASED.
THERE CAN ONLY BE BUT A HANDFUL (1or2) COPIES OF THIS ALBUM ABOUT!
GRADING I grade records firstly visually and sample aurally for overall sound quality. Should you feel I have misgraded please remember that I offer a full NO QUIBBLE refund or agreed price reduction if I am off the mark.
NEAR EXCELLENT (EX or EX+)~~careful visual inspection audio sampling has not revealed any major imperfections such as clicks or skips~~the LP should sound really good and it will be hard to find a better copy. Sleeve and any inserts/inners are in excellent shape. You will not be disappointed.
VG++ ~~ not quite EX but not too far off and should be a perfectly acceptable sound.
VG+ ~~ audio listening has revealed some surface noise or the odd crackle here and there. Visually the Lp may have light scuffs but nothing major though has obviously been played regularly. Sleeve might have light creases or ringwear. The Lp and sleeve will be fine until a better copy comes along.
Remember this is NOT a mint or excellent condition album.
STILL PERFECTLY PLAYABLE AND STILL AN ACCEPTABLE SOUND!!
VG~~not great and will have spindle wear, surface noise and crackles but I will flag up this grading rarely. However, NO deep felt scratches and it should track OK on your deck. This will do till a better copy comes along but is probably worth it for rarity value.
