HORACE PARLAN - SPEAKING’ MY PIECE
BLP 4043
First pressing. Has deep groove, Plastylite "Ear" and RVG stamped in deadwax. Labels have "47 W 63rd NYC" address on both labels, which is indication that this is first pressing.
This is a 1st Press on the Blue Note label.
We have play tested this: Plays good with clear audio. There are no clicks, skips, skating or repetitive skip playback, there is some very slight background noise at the start, and in the runin/outs, there are a a couple of quiet crackles if you listen hard, but overall the audio is beautiful and really solid.
The condition of the vinyl is nice and glossy, and looks great. The label shows some rubbing and discolouration as pictured.
The cover has some corner blunting, and the spine has a few tears and with this being a white cover some discolouration, tiniest bit of tape bottom right, the reverse has a little writing ‘my city’ but overall appears in okay condition for a 1960 release.

The record is stored in an Anti-Static Audiophile sleeve, and housed in a 75 microns PP Crystal outer sleeve.
We do not clean vinyl.
All records are shipped outside their covers in their anti-static sleeve, to prevent tears and damage. We ship in specific vinyl cardboard mailers only, to give the correct protection in transit.
