HORACE SILVER QUINTET: "SIX PIECES OF SILVER" LP - On BLUE NOTE Records, BLP 1539.  Original '56 USA MONO vinyl FLAT EDGE pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the 767 LEXINGTON AVE NYC address on both labels.  DEEP GROOVE labels on both sides.  "EAR" & RVG etched in the trail-off on both sides.  Heavy vinyl, thick cardboard "frame" cover.  Liner notes by Leonard Feather.  The personnel:  Donald Byrd/trumpet; Hank Mobley/tenor sax; Horace Silver/piano; Doug Watkins/bass; Louis Hayes/drums.  The thick cover is in superb NM shape, bright & clean, displays wonderfully.  No writing, no cut-out markings, no seam splits, and the front cover graphics are particularly striking.  Address on back cover is 767 Lexington Ave., New York 21.  The vinyl is in VG+ to VG condition with high sheen.  The labels have some light spindle trails by the center hole.  The songs are:  Cool Eyes; Shirl; Camouflage; Enchantment; Señor Blues; Virgo; For Heaven's Sake.
