HORACE SILVER "FURTHER EXPLORATIONS BY THE HORACE SILVER QUINTET" LP - On Blue Note Records, #1589.  Extremely rare vintage jazz Lp.  MONO pressing with the classic Blue & White labels and the 47 WEST 63RD NYC address on the labels.  The label is DEEP GROOVE on both sides.  'EAR' and 'RVG' stamp in the trail-off on both sides.  Matrix number is hand-etched on both sides.  Thick vinyl, thick laminated cardboard cover.  The personnel:  Art Farmer/trumpet; Cliff Jordan/tenor sax; Horace Silver/piano; Teddy Kotick/bass; Louis Hayes/drums.  The vinyl is in VG+ condition.  Although there are some light surface/sleeve marks, the vinyl still maintains fantastic sheen.  The thick cardboard cover is in excellent shape and displays wonderfully.  There are NO seam splits, NO bends or creases, NO cut-out marks of any kind.  The front cover graphics are particularly striking with vivid colors.  The songs are:  The Outlaw; Melancholy Mood; Pyramid; Moon Rays; Safari; Ill Wind.
