This offer is for the 1956 Mono LP recording on Blue Note #1539, "Six Pieces of Silver," with the Horace Silver Quintet, the first recording from Silver's personnally-formed combo. It was recorded by Rudy Van Gelder.
With Silver on piano, the other personnel are Donald Byrd on trumpet, Hank Mobley on tenor sax, Doug Watkins on bass and Louis Hayes on drums. The selections are:

The LP is in very good plus condition, with just a couple of visible light scratches on Side One. The record plays with very occasional surface noise, which in no way detracts from the clear, rich, warm sound. The album cover is in very good plus condition, with no marks and no seam splits.
