Not much info to be found on this one. Hot Cold Sweat (or The Hot Cold Sweat Band), were a long-running Washington DC band that played soul and funk through the 70's and 80's and was part of the DC Go-Go scene in the late 80's/90's.
 
This LP, on what I can assume was the band's own "Sweat" label, is un-dated but sounds to me like mid-late 70's. Features a SIDE-LONG 17-MINUTE cover of Stevie Wonder's "Living For The City" which is pretty mind-blowing! I've included a full sound sample of that, as well as excerpts of the four songs on the A-Side.

Killer funk and soul on this LP, of which I can find barely any record of online.

CONDITION: VINYL: STRONG VG. Many light scuffs and light scratches. Some audible pops and noise on the "Living For The City" side. A-side is a bit cleaner. No skips or major problems that I've been able to detect. Give it a listen!

LABELS: VG+ Visible spindle wear and some light scuffing. One song title highlited.

COVER: VG(+) Shelf wear and scuffing. Some minor discoloration from age. Some bending at corners. Spine and top seam show some fraying and the beginnings of splits. Still feels very solid and looks great!

Packing:
We ship all records in strong cardboard mailers, packed with extra cardboard stiffeners.
All vinyl will be packed in a paper inner sleeve, outside of it's original sleeve to prevent splits.

Grading:
We offer conservative VISUAL grades of all vinyl. This means that unless noted, we do not listen to every record listed. We do offer many years of experience in visual grading. If you are unhappy with our grading, or feel we missed something, please see our returns policy.

SEALED RECORD POLICY:
It is assumed when selling sealed records, that the record is in near mint, "like new" condition. This is not always the case however, as pressing defects, and damage incurred by storage may be present. At the buyers request, we will carefully open and inspect a sealed record before sending, but we cannot accept returns on records that were shipped sealed and then opened.

Returns:
