Basic Vinyl / Cover Grading Explanation: Grading is usually done visually. 

NM    No scratches, no scuff marks, no label wear. VG+ Has some signs of wear, possibly light surface scratches and/or scuff marks, label may have light ring wear.  Records graded as VG+ should play without any sound defects (pops, skips, etc.) Cover and picture sleeves may have light ring wear or a small seam split. VG Vinyl will have more noticeable scratches and/or scuffs and sound quality may diminish.  There may be pops or cracks and/or light skips but record should still play through and be of very good listening quality. Label may have noticeable wear, writing or tape. Covers and picture sleeves may have more pronounced ring wear and larger seam splits. G Vinyl is not a collector's piece but will still play through.  There will probably be background noise and noticeable skips.  Covers and picture sleeves will be in usable condition but there will probably be large seam splits and/or significant amount of writing.

All records are packaged in cardboard record mailers.
