Description
Many Elvis collectors, fans, feel the only way to listen to Elvis is at the 78 rpm speed. I have to agree, these records sound wonderful, It is another I am making available from the original owner. This original ' 50s flexi 78 is extremely hard to find, it is a 10" made in U.S. on the RCA VICTOR PREVUE DISC JOCKEY SAMPLE WHITE LABEL #20-6604, tunes are: DON'T BE CRUEL & HOUND DOG. LIke the other one I am making available it was never used in the Wurlitzer jukebox and was still in its original box with a small handful of others that are like new. only one other is an Elvis promo similar to this one. I've owned a few flexi 78s years ago, but never these rare Elvis promos. The labels are near pristine, one has a tiny tear. Playing surfaces are very glossy, with no problems except for only 2 extremely small scuffs that do not affect play. If you search for the rarest Elvis records in the best CONDITION: NEAR MINT - . Consider this, great find. Not only is the sound quality terrific, you never have to worry about it breaking. Glad I could make it available with a low minimum bid and no reserve. Also comes with never used jukebox label. Your satisfaction is guaranteed, bid with confidence. Buyer pays actual shipping cost, Plus $1 for lp mailer box. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY OVERSEAS PACKAGES THAT ARE UNREGISTERED PLEASE DO NOT PAY UNTIL I SEND INVOICE.
On Apr-27-09 at 06:41:09 PDT, seller added the following information:PLEASE READ: I HAVE BEEN RECEIVING EMAILS FROM PEOPLE TELLING ME THESE ELVIS PROMOS ARE NOT ORIGINALS FROM THE '50S, THEY ARE LATER U.S. PRESSINGS FOR JUKEBOXES. NONE THE LESS, THEY ARE STILL VERY HARD TO FIND, FLEXIBLE AND WON'T BREAK, AND HAVE OUTSTANDING SOUND QUALITY. THEY CERTAINLY DO NOT SOUND LIKE THEY ARE RECORDED OFF OF A RECORD, THEY SOUND EXTREMELY GOOD, LIKE TAKEN FROM THE MASTER TAPE. I NEVER FIND THESE, AND HAVE A LACK OF KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THEM, SO I TOOK THE WORD OF THE ORIGINAL OWNER WHO TOLD ME THEY CAME WITH HER JUKEBOX IN THE ' 50S. GLAD I COULD MAKE THEM AVAILABLE, GOOD LUCK!
