British alternative rock band The House of Love dropped their Audience in Mind LP back in 1993 and it was their last new music until 2005. Their fourth album, it was recorded after Simon Mawby left and was the third successive lead guitarist to do so in just three years. That left band leader Guy Chadwick to record most of the album's guitar parts while former member Andrea Heukamp returned once more to add some backing vocals. The band failed to tour the album and so it wasn't one of their more commercially successful works. However, fans took to it for its melancholic tone and tense, often dramatic moods. This reissue comes in a nice debossed sleeve.
