HOUSTON WELLS And THE MARKSMEN-- "WESTERN STYLE" LP. UK Parlophone 1215. MONO. Original 1963 pressing. This is a Joe Meek production (RGM Sound).

Record grade: VG++ (Excellent). Cover grade: VG. The vinyl is still shiny. There are some very light surface scratches / scuff marks present that happens when a record is slid in and out of a sleeve, but they are very minimal. That, along with a few light spindle marks on the label tells me that the record has been carefully played a number of times over the years.

Very small 1/4" seam split on bottom right side of cover (see close-up photo).

Small tear on back cover--upper right side corner where laminated plastic film has peeled away (see close-up photo).

Minimal writing on back cover, next to track listings (see photo).

Very slight wear on left side top and bottom corners of cover.

Rubber-stamped address in purple ink on back cover.

Despite the cover defects, this record looks to have been well taken care of before I ever acquired it in the UK in 1994 and it's been part of my Joe Meek collection ever since. It has only been played by me a couple times over the years. This is a nice condition copy of a very scarce record in top playing condition.
