HOWARD EYNON so what if I'm standing in apricot jam ( Basket/Candle BFPS-005. Made in Australia early 70s.)
VERY psychedelic in the acoustic Syd Barrett style but with a unique slant. Totally bent and evocative lyrics and fantastic inventive backing, the full package. Mostly acoustic guitar but also some tracks with drums, violin, flute , mellotron, French Horn, Double bass, electric harpsichord & piano. Perhaps the most acid-folk of any Aussie lp. Who will do the reissue?
Along with Steve Warner the best on this interesting Tasmanian label. This copy is on Candle labels rather than Basket. I've spoken to someone involved with the label, story is, they ran out of Basket labels while pressing this lp and the new ones were printed as Candles. It's the same company and there was only one pressing.

Condition - Disc M-. Cover EX. Rear is clean. Front has "Australian" written in blue ink, slight bubbling on top left where a sticker has been removed. Spine has 1" beginning split. This is a thin card cover and difficult to find perfect.
