Description

Howard Finster Large color silk-screen "Message Poster" Print

Howard Finster folk-art "message poster", screenprinted in six colors and personally signed at the bottom right by Howard Finster. There is a date as part of the poster: April 27, 1993. This one has two potential titles: "Howard Finster's First United Worlds Poster And Postage Stamp And Unvelop For The Worlds Clean Up Job" and/or "Howard Preached For Years Super:Powers' Come Together And Police The World".

I obtained this from Howard at Paradise Gardens in Summerville, GA. There's an awful lot going on in this poster, you've got Jesus, Johnny Carson, Mona Lisa, Uncle Sam, a Coca-Cola bottle, William Shakespeare, Howard at age 3, Henry Ford at age 2½, the woman who lived in a shoe, an ox, a detailed "History Of Plant Farm Museum", etc. FAIR ONLY Condition -- there are four small tac holes at the corners, there is also a faint crease which shows up in the middle of the poster at each edge, on the left edge it's close to a little tear but hasn't torn through. And the entire poster has tanned a bit. Not perfect condition but still a very fun item. If you have any questions please contact me.

Shipping cost includes delivery confirmation for US buyers.
