We Recently Acquired a Wonderful Riverside and Jazzland Collection. This Collection came from the Estate of an Artist-Photographer who
had worked in the Industry.
It appears that He had received Several Hundred Records Primarily on Riverside and other Bill Grauer and Orrin Keepnews Subsidiary Labels.
A Majority of the Records are in Absolutely Beautiful - Untouched - Like New Condition.
As We removed the Waxpaper and Paper Inner Sleeves in Order to Condition Grade the Lps We Discovered that many of the Lps had
Never Been Removed from the Inner Sleeves AT ALL!!
As We Removed Most of the Riverside Paper Inner Sleeves We Could Easily Read the Type Through the Sleeve which Indicates that the Lps have been in the same position in the Sleeves Since the Lps were Placed on the Shelf during the 60's!!

HOWLIN WOLF SINGS THE BLUES CROWN RECORDS CLP 5240 In 1962 Crown Records Compiled The Now Legendary 1951-52 Memphis Recording Services (Before It Became Sun) Sessions Of One Chester Burnett, AKA Howlin' Wolf, For Various Labels Including RPM. Recorded By Sam Phillips, These Sessions Contain Raw Electric Blues Power And Rival Other Artists At The Time As Well As His Later Recordings For Chess. This Record Also Includes The Original Version Of "Smokestack Lightnin'" Here Called "Crying At Daylight". This Record Is EXTREMELY Hard To Find SEALED In The Original Loose Bag. The Only Problem Is That Years Have Been Cruel To The Bottom Of The Sleeve And The Record Has Cut Through Approx. 4" Of The Bag And A 8 1/2" Tear In The Bottom Seam. (See Pic Below) Note: No Crown Records Were Sleeved, Therefore This Occasionally Happens. We Can Guarantee That You Will Find A Unplayed, Untouched Grey Label Crown Howlin Wolf Inside!
