Description
This is the original UK LP by HOWLIN' WOLF, MOANIN' IN THE MOONLIGHT, 1964, MONO, 1st LP on the black and gold CHESS label CRL 4006. Martrix numbers are, SIDE 1:- CRL 4006 A1, CRL 4006 B1, indentifing this as a genuine 1st Pressing. The LP comes with it's original and correct PYE (Chess was their subsidery Blues label) inner sleeve.
The original 1964 UK 1st issue Garrod and Lofthouse flpback cover with 'Patents pending' credits is in EX condition, lovely and clean, maintaining all it's original colour, their is no unwanted writing and no seam splits, the spine is fully intact, broad and perfectly readable.
The vinyl is in EX+++ condition, gleaming with all it's original shine and lustre. I have played the vinyl (very carefully!), and the vinyl plays EX+++ / MINT-, playing with crisp clear clarity, the quality of this impressive 1964 Mono 1st Pressing heavy weight Pressing is MAGNIFICANT!, A WONDERFUL LISTENING EXPERIENCE!.
The original black and gold CHESS label's are in EX+++ condition, lovely and clean, maintaining all their original colour, their is no unwanted writing and no scuffs, the spindle hole area, shows minimal wear.
The vinyl is housed in it's original 1964 1st issue PYE inner sleeve and in EX+ condition, lovely and clean, their is no unwanted writing, their are two seam splits at the bottom middle and the right hand side middle,of the sleeve.
