HOWLIN' WOLF-----HOWLIN' WOLF    ///// Chess Records LP 1469   MONO LP  THE CLASSIC!

This is one of the most sought after Blues albums!  This is the classic by Howlin' Wolf that features recordings from 1959-1962 with titles like 'Shake For Me', 'The Red Rooster', 'Spoonful', 'Going Down Slow', 'Back Door Man', 'Wang-Dang Doodle' and more.  Unfortunately, it is not up to our usual standards for the jacket or disc. First, the disc has light scratches to the surface that are probably audible and one large scratch or mark (it does not appear to be a gouge) on side 2, track 1.  It is a well played disc.  Second, the cover has storage wear marks to the front and back, although corners and seams are tight, and has some type of staining on the perimeter of the rear cover that does not affect the photo of the Wolf or liner notes, but it's there.  Therefore, a definite used LP, but one that is extremely hard to find and is the original Chess pressing.
