Description

Up for bids: a RARE ORIGINAL ISSUE copy of the self-titled, debut LP by dark psychedelic-folk "cult favorites" H.P. LOVECRAFT. Appropriately enough, this one's on PHILIPS RECORDS (appropriate as "Phillips" was the middle name of the real H.P. LOVECRAFT, the influential early 20th century horror author after whom this band is named), stereo, PHS 600-252.

Overall, vinyl is EX- or slightly better (GOLDMINE standard), or 7-7.5 out of 10: a few light superficial scratches and some minor hairlining. Looks great and plays clean with no skips and only minimal noise. Sleeve has somebody's old "belongs to" label on lower rear corner (small, neat, doesn't distract form image or obscure any text. I'd call it "patina" rather than an actual defect) and shows minor overall wear but, happily, NO splitting. I'm grading it comparable to the record.
