Description

You are bidding on a vintage Huey Smith 78 RPM record on the ACE label. This is catalogue number 545, featuring "Don't You Just Know It" and "High Blood Pressure", both performed by Huey (Piano) Smith and the Clowns. Both sides still retain their original gloss.  I would grade the "Don't You Just Know It" side as E and the "High Blood Pressure" side as V+ due to some scratches through the grooves.
I use the VJM grading system, which is listed below. Unless otherwise mentioned, all records are play-graded. International bidders please contact me before bidding to inquire about shipping.  Insurance is not included, but I may add it on at the buyer's request and adjust the final payment accordingly. N: New and unplayed with no signs of damage. It is extraordinarily rare to find a record in this condition.

N-: Near mint. Has been played, but has no signs of wear or damage.

E+: Plays like new, with few signs of handling.

E: Very shiny, appears like new. Surface contains a few inaudible scuffs and scratches.

E-: Still shiny but without the luster of a new record. May have a few light scratches.

V+: Scuffs and scratches have dulled the original finish somewhat. Wear is moderate but playing is generally free from distortion. Surface noise not overly pronounced.

V: Moderate, even wear throughout, but still very playable. Surface noise and scratches audible but not intrusive.

V-: Quite playable, but with distortion and heavy graying in loud passages. Surface noise and scratches well below music level.

G+: Grey throughout but still serviceable. Contains heavy scratches.

G: Seriously worn and scratched, but music level still higher than surface noise.

G-: Music still prominent, but wear and scratch damage is extensive.
