ENCANTADO / JANITO ... 7-inch, 45rpm TV OST single by HUGO HEREDIA. Original Italian pressing on ARISTON label (AR 00647), from 1975. Seldom heard and superb Italian-only 7-inch featuring the spaced-out ENCANTADO theme. This funky scat bossa was only ever released as an obscure TV / soundtrack single so does not appear on his Pedro Y Antonia or Mananita Pampera Lp. Groovy Brazilian jazz with modal waltz rhythms featuring the Argentinian born musician on flute / sax and vocals with latin percussion / bells / sexy female scat chorus / infectious guitar vamps and trippy analogue synthesizers. Gorgeous oriental style harmony from his backing singers. Heredia was also the flautist heard on the Mad - Sway session led by Sante Palumbo for his CiPiTi label release. The JANITO theme has a more French folk / euro soundtrack vibe with sexy vocal chorus too. Rare OST 45!!!
Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG
Vinyl is closer to shiny M- condition overall with a few hairlines. Stunning production sound. Surface noises to the B-side theme, 'Janito' but all copies have this. The picture sleeve is in VG++ condition overall with light general wear. Some corner wear / ring creasing and mini section of wear to middle right side from storage. Rare OST 45!!!
