Here's the RARE sole LP by fantastic Danish Prog Rock/Psych Band Hurdy Gurdy (Donovan's "Hurdy Gurdy Man" is in reference to this band). as per wiki - Hurdy Gurdy Man,' was originally written for a Danish group by that name,”, “There is a friend of mine in the group — Mac MacLeod — whom I looked to in the early days to learn how to pick the guitar. “I wrote the song especially for them but then we got into a disagreement over how it was to be produced. I wanted to do it one way and they another. “So I said, `Right then - I'll do it myself because I think it's good enough for a single.' “So I did it. And it's out.
This is an Original Dutch Press...super hard to find, great stuff, Hendrix/Zeppelin influence, even some Middle Eastern vibes with a Sitar based Raga...this copy plays brilliantly!
The Gatefold Cover is EX- (see pics + zoom in), a little edgeware, and a couple of small chips, deletion hole top right, small writing on S1 label, comes with it's original printed CBS inner bag, the Vinyl is EX...faint sleeve scuffing, looks rarely if ever played, plays through fantastic..the whole way through.
Extremely difficult to find, don't miss!!
