Description
Columbia original blue / turquoise & silver SAX 2308 - 2310 stereo set of Handel's Messiah. Performed by Elsie Morison, Richard Lewis etc. with the Huddersfield Choral Society and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Sir Malcolm Sargent. Original "STEREOPHONIC" red and gold sticker.
This is a box set of 3 records with the original leaflet.
This record is part of my personal collection. The box and leaflet are in great condition. The records are in excellent condition; there are a few surface scuffs however there is one mark that will probably "tick" running part way across side 3. Hence the realistic starting price for this now rare stereo record. The original inner sleeves are included.
I have been collecting classical records for many years and have decided to sell most of them - I now listen primarily to CDs. It is very unusual to find this record set in such good condition because it is a very popular work. I am not a record dealer.
This item is heavy and unfortunately will be expensive to send overseas. Please note that the overseas postage includes insurance - it might be possible to reduce the postage cost depending on the sale price - therefore please do not pay until you receive an invoice from me.
