Description
A two volume collection of Handel's Messiah from Columbia Records. Conducted by Sir Thomas Beecham with Dora Labbette, Muriel Brunskill, Hubert Eusdell, Harold Williams and the B.B.C Choir. There are 9 records in each volume. I am no expert but they all appear to be in good condition. All the records in the Volume 2 collection have identical record labels however in the Volume 1 collection, although they are all Columbia record labels some are a different colour blue although all other information on the label matches the collection. Both volumes are black in colour with titles etc embossed in gold, but sadly the covers are not in great condition. There is a total of 18 records.
A Brilliant 90 year old collection of this famous recording delightful for a gramophone enthusiast!
