Up for sale is a rare 1964 soul-jazz organ gem: Hank Jacobs – So Far Away on Sue Records (catalog # LP 1023, monaural/mono pressing, original US release).

Hank Jacobs delivers smoking Hammond B-3 grooves with a killer band on this hard-to-find Sue LP. Highlights include the upbeat "Gonzo," the laid-back "So Far Away," the funky "Mustang," and the swinging "Bacon Fat." Pure 60s organ soul/jazz — essential for Hammond collectors, Sue Records completists, or fans of Jimmy Smith-style instrumental soul.
