A stacked hard-bop sextet and a scarce 1500-series Blue Note - one of the harder original pressings to find in the catalog. Hank Mobley (tenor sax), Donald Byrd (trumpet), John Jenkins (alto sax), Bobby Timmons (piano), Wilbur Ware (bass), and "Philly" Joe Jones (drums). Recorded April 21, 1957 by Rudy Van Gelder. Two Mobley originals - "Fit for a Hanker" and "Hi Groove, Low Feed-Back" - plus "Easy to Love," "Time After Time," and Bud Powell's "Dance of the Infidels."
