March of 1963 Session Previously Unreleased In Its Entirety as an Album Until Now!
Remastered by Kevin Gray and Steve Hoffman from the Original Rudy Van Gelder Blue Note Master Tapes
The Definitive 45RPM Blue Note Reissue Series
The music collected on Hank Mobley Quintet's The Feelin's Good was originally recorded during a single session in March of 1963 and then inexplicably shelved. "Old World, New Imports" and "Up a Step" were issued on 1963's No Room For Squares while "East of the Village" and "The Good Life" were included on 1965's The Turnaround!
The remaining two tracks, "The Feelin's Good" and "Yes Indeed," were not released until after Mobley's death in 1986 as part of the compilation Straight No Filter. For the very first time, this session, which also features front line legends Donald Byrd and Herbie Hancock, will exist as a complete album courtesy of Music Matters!
"Having the opportunity to present this great session in its entirety, and in the 'Music Matters Jazz' style, is one of the most satisfying things we've done with this series to date." - Joe Harley

- What if one of my items is not available (out of print/stock)?
Record companies take LP's cd's, and dvd's in and out of circulation all the time, without notice, to generate future demand. We have no control over this and it affects all media sellers. Therefore, we will refund the item(s) and the shipping charges and send the rest of your shipment.
