Description
This is the original deep-groove RVG-etched “P”-pressing of Hank Mobley “All Stars” on the West 63rd New York 23 labels of Blue Note BLP 1544. The flat rim playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once. The coated West 63rd frame cover is bright and clean throughout; ½” wear on the top seam, at the spine; small areas of rubbing/flaking along the top half of the spine; 1 ½” split on the bottom seam, at the opening; the top of the back slick is stamped “Park” Adams (Pepper Adams), as this was his personal copy.
