From my dad's very large 78 record collection I have found two records by Hank Williams, on Sterling Records. I am told that this record dates back to 194?. It is in very good condition. I am not going to find a record player to find out if this record skips, but, as good as this record looks, I'd be surprised if it did skip. The side with "Wealth Won't Save Your Soul", has a great looking label! The "B" side, "When God Comes And Fathers His Jewels", has a ring cut on the label, probably from a needle. Compared to all of the hundreds of 78's that I have just gone through, this record looks fantastic. I did my best to photograph the labels and both sides of the record. Of course for a record that is around 60 years old, it does have some scuffs and minor scratches, but again, I believe the winner of this auction will be pleased.
I have been told that Hank Williams on Sterling can bring a large winning bid, especially in this condition. So if you want this record for your collection by Christmas, you'll have to bid.
Winner must pay, $20 dollars for Priority Mail. I will take extra care to protect this record in shipping. Insurance is highly encouraged. If you win both of my records the shipping will be for the price of one.
