NOTES: Has two edge chips on A side, one on B side.  These are in the lead-in but do not come into contact with the grooves.  Plays with a rich warm sound. Sounds like Hank is in the room!

N = New.  Never been played. Equivalent to a Mint LP.  This grade only used for unplayed store stock 78's.

N- = New Minus. Near Perfect. At worst, a few paper rubs.  Nothing that would ever affect play. Equivalent to the NM LP grade.

E+ = Excellent Plus. Very light markings or factory defects that have no significant impact on playback.  Equivalent to the Excellent grade for LP's.

E = Excellent. A record showing signs of being played. Slight signs of wear, slight scuffs or very light scratches.  Equivalent to the VG+ LP grade.

V = Very Good.  Played and shows obvious wear, but not abused and still enjoyable.  Equivalent to the VG LP grade.

G = Good. May have enlargement of the center hole, grooves may be turning white.  Scratches and defects apparent.  Equivalent to a Good LP grade.

F = Fair.  Scratches, surface noise, defects.

P - Poor. Trashed, unplayable copy.
