GETTING BACK TO NOTHING was a 52 min film doco dealing with the 1970 World Surfing Championships held at Bells Beach, Victoria (Australia) with great psych and surf tracks including Hans Poulsen, Bruce Woodley and Billy Green.

 It is a very important Surf collectable, NO doubt the rarest of the 4 great progressive oZ surf film trippy soul surfer soundtracks from the very early 70s: Getting Back to Nothing 1970

Soft, fully laminated cover in EX condition, with excellent seams, slight ring wear on front/back cover and minimal wear on the corners.

Vinyl :   EX+/EX

Under a strong alogen lamp the shiny vinyl looks in EX+/EX condition. The shiny surface looks almost unplayed on side 1 and visually shows just an isolated and very light sign, on side 2, absolutely not affecting playing, just cosmetic.

Catalogue/Label :

LP FABLE FBSA-005 original 1st Australian pressing from 1970.

Red and purple labels with white lettering show no wear, with some marks around the spindle hole.

GRADING CODE

Grading is VISUAL, under a bright light. 

        NM  (Near Mint): Record has been opened, and probably played, but is in impeccable condition. I do not use "mint".

EX   (Excellent): Has signs of use or storage, but still considered top collection quality. Jackets may display some very light wear; vinyl may have a few light sleeve marks only visible in the highest light. Sound will full and clear, with little if any noise (NOTE, some records are just pressed poorly).

VG+ (Very Good Plus): Still a great copy but has a bit more wear. Vinyl may have some light scuffs or scratches, but nothing deep. Jacket may have some ringwear or seamwear. Sound should be great, with minimal if any noise.

VG  Very Good): A great play copy but clearly used. Vinyl will display many hairline scuffs or scratches, but will play with a tolerable amount of noise. Jacket may have splits and wear but will not be falling apart.

VG-(Very Good Minus): A used or worn copy, that has not been taken good care of. Vinyl will have many scuffs or scratches, but play through enjoyably despite audible background noise. Covers will have tears, splits, writing, or other issues. 

VG+ Fair, Poor: A very rough copy. Will play through without skipping unless otherwise noted, although records of this grade are sold AS-IS.
