Description
Offered is one of the most sought after Jazz recordings in the definitive era of Hard Bop - 'Round About Midnight by the dynamite Miles Davis Quintet.
Our offering is a hard to find label variation of the original 1st Edition Mono Pressing on Columbia's Six Eye label (CL 949), released in 1957.
This label variation has the album title "Round About Midnight" and "The Miles Davis Quintet" each on its own separate line, as well as staggered track titles and a smaller font on the "SIDE 1" & "SIDE 2" titles.

THE VINYL - EX : The LP surfaces retain much of their original gloss, with minimal spindlewear evident.
A name is written in ink on both of the Side 1 and 2 labels. Otherwise, the labels are undamaged, with bright Red and Black Columbia "6 Eye" colors.
Present on both sides are some light marks, including sleevewear and hairlines that produce some occasional and infrequent background noise.
There are no deep marks, and the playback quality is strong and clear.
THE COVER - EX : Please see photos / some front and back cover scuffing / a name is written in ink on the top of the back cover / all of the seams, including the spine, are intact / no other writing, paper loss, or dirt.
We have placed both the cover and the LP into separate, protective plastic sleeves.
