Description
Raftis Records (RR-111) 1970 promo 45 rpm single release from PUNCH. Tracks are: RAINBOW MAN / DEATHHEAD. The A-side has nice prog pop feel but it's DEATHHEAD that draws the interest. First, it's almost a five minute single with about a one minute vocal at the intro that immediately becomes a three minute guitar driven power trio hard psych rave. Then back to the vocal for the last minute. It is a known piece but not widely available. VG+ condition - great player exhibiting like new lustre with only a couple sleeve micro-scratches. One small bit of safely removed sticker residue with otherwise clean, wear free labels. There is a bit of a warp but very slight and not affecting play. The sound clip was taken from the 45 tracked at two grams. Buyer pays $3.00 First Class shipping in the U.S. with insurance optional.
