Description

David Hill (born David Hess) was a journeyman songwriter, who wrote for Sam Mineo and Pat Boone, and recorded records for a variety of labels under various names.  Aaron Schroeder was a major music publisher, and wrote 17 songs for Elvis Presley, including It's Now or Never.  Here is an acetate of a song they wrote together called Hard Rock Candy, in an early rock 'n' roll / rockabilly style that doesn't seem to have been commercially released.  The 10" 78 rpm acetate is in nice VG shape with some storage marks, and comes with an original lead sheet.
