Description

From a large collection of vintage Hill & Range acetates comes a one-sided, 45 rpm Gold Star acetate for a song called Hard Times in the Country.  The song was written by Ben Weisman, who was a prolific writer for Elvis Presley, and Dorsey Burnette, who Weisman often used to sing on demos intended for Presley.  The song doesn't appear to have commercially released, but was very likely pitched to Presley.  The 8" acetate is in shiny VG++ shape, about as clean as a vintage acetate can be.  Comes with lead sheet, as pictured.
