Description
A very rare and poignant item to be selling to be quite honest. Harry Nilsson was a very close friend of John Lennon and was deeply affected by his murder. At the Beatlefest at New York Metro in 1982 , he offered to write a song and give the publishing rights to anybody who would give 500 dollars to the National Coalition to Ban Handguns. A lady named Judy took up his offer, hence the title ‘ Judy ‘ as Track B of the single , Track A is ‘ With a Bullet’. What makes the single so emotive in my opinion is that it was produced in red.
The paper insert is dedicated to Liz ? & Joe and is signed by Harry.
The record is in excellent condition .
