Harsh Reality - Heaven & Hell UK Vinyl LP - First Pressing 1969
Here we have an EXTREMELY rare album from the short-lived UK band 'Harsh Reality'.
This is is the first pressing, with the PHILIPS black and silver center labels.
Now, lets talk condition... please read carefully and study the photographs.
The gatefold sleeve is in Poor to Fair condition... it is a rather flimsy laminated cover, and having been stored in a garage for years I guess the cold has got to it. The edges are worn, and the lamination on the back cover has some 'bubbling' going on. As you can see in the last photo, there is a large split to the bottom of the sleeve.
The disc itself is in surprisingly good, playable condition. The labels are excellent, and the disc itself is quite nice and shiny. It cant have been played much. I have played the album through today, and it plays really nicely. Yes there are some pops, and some surface noise, but not enough to detract from the music, its really quite good. HOWEVER, the disc is a little bit warped... not so much as to affect play. As I said, I played the whole album through just fine, and had no skips or jumps. The needle didn't leave the disc at all.
So basically, this copy is nowhere near a 'minter'! But it is a perfectly playable copy of an very, very rare album.
I have described this as honestly as I can, so please read thoroughly and study the photos before bidding.
