Description

An original 1st press of ROTTERS on the UK Virgin label. Matrix 1U/1U - 1st cut. Stampers 1G/1G - the 1st stamper employed. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover with the generic white inner from the time. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex) In lovely condition and has clearly only seen light use. Each side is shiny like a mirror with only one observable mark. The mark is very superficial and won't get anywhere near the audio [guaranteed]. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with just slight deviation in a couple of spots. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. By and large a very clean and assured rendition. And you will definitely need that on this title - as a lot of the audio is incredibly intricate and low-key in nature. I'm picking out just a few crackles in a couple of isolated moments per side [e.g. Lounging and Mumps] - that's all really. Nothing invasive. A beautiful player which will do this release maximum justice.
Cover (Ex/Ex+) Would be difficult to better - that's for sure. Shiny and flat front and rear without creasing. Edge wear is pretty much non-existent and the openings are still sharp. Even the corners are lovely and pointy - this cover really has been very carefully looked after. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. FINAL UPGRADE.
Inner (Vg+) Lightly aged. No splits though.
