Description
This is a fine original U.S. pressing copy of a sought-after 1976 collaboration between Michael Hurley, Peter Stampfel and his then-current iteration of the Holy (here Unholy) Modal Rounders, and Rounder labelmates Jeffrey Fredericks and the Clamtones. The artists share composing duties, and play on each other's songs, making it a truly collaborative effort. Hurley provided the cover art in his signature style. The jacket has one main flaw, some substantial creasing in one corner (see the photo, which captures much of it). Otherwise it's in fine condition with light creasing in two other corners and along the spine (EX-). The disc is clean, and plays with occasional light surface noise -- EX(+).
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
