Description

Rarest memorabilia item from the famous TV serie "Hawaii 5.0" not only because it's a spanish only pressing but because this is the test pressing for that rare record. FOX Spain made a short run of 7" vinyl singles to promote the launch of "Hawai 5.0" in Spain in 2011. This short run was etched in one of the sides with a promotional text about the premiere and it had the famous Ventures song on the other. They recorded it for the show but the music director rejected it in favor of a synthesized version. As you can read on Songfacts although this version still seems to be credited to the Ventures, Don Wilson from the band said: "After they got bad press on the synthesizer version, they copied our version just right down to the tee. So we're not playing it on there... (we're) getting ripped off" <--- Which turns this record into a more collectable item in my opinion....... :). Anyway... here's your first chance (and probably unique so also the last) to get such a rare record. It has lots of light surface marks that produce background noise specially on the groove-in. It doesnt disturb when music starts playing but they are there. Please ask for more photos or even audios to check them out. An amazing piece to frame for your studio.
